CALHOUN COUNTY, WV

Ready for change, ready for a future.

Calhoun County, West Virginia is full. Full of people with huge hearts, strong work ethics, and steadfast loyalty to their community.

Calhoun County is waiting. Waiting for things to be the way they used to be, before the town’s community hub – the community high school – was closed and the shops and surrounding town started to die off.

Calhoun County is hopeful. Hopeful about the plans The 1982 Foundation, started by Calhoun High School Class of 1982, has for turning the school into a thriving community center, the Calhoun County Community Center.

Calhoun County is watching and engaged. Engaged in the effort to build the center. Watching to make sure red tape and politics don’t slow things down.

Calhoun County is ready. Ready for change, ready for a future.
